Published feesMaya’s cash-in page sets a combined PHP 8,000 monthly threshold for free cash-in via selected partners, charging 2 per cent on whatever exceeds it. Because verification didn’t include a fresh pull of this number from Maya’s own site, it counts for less than the GCash schedule above, which came from a direct reading.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The ceiling GCash names is the balance held at one particular time, not a cumulative sum. Despite being presented as a comparison so often, lining these two numbers up side by side means nothing, since each measures a different thing.

Recorded in 2026-09, the figures here are a point-in-time reading. Providers change limits and fees without warning, so their own page is the only up-to-date source.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Nothing about gambling shows up in Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions once read directly; what’s there are general bans on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Its CREDIT CARD terms belong to a separate product, and within those terms, ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ sits on the restricted-transactions list, with suspension or cancellation of the card as the consequence. By August 2025, Maya had to comply with BSP Memorandum M-2025-029, which meant stripping out in-app gambling and gaming links. A credit card agreement can restrict its own terms without that restriction touching the wallet, which is why the two products must be kept distinct.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles real time applies to wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay, same banking day applies to PESONet. That is a statement about the payment rail and says nothing of the casino: before a withdrawal ever gets to Maya, the operator may hold it for its own review, and this review is typically the source of the wait.

A per-transaction cap of The Upgraded tier sets a PHP 20,000 per-transaction ceiling for Maya-to-Maya sends and a PHP 50,000 daily ceiling for InstaPay transfers out applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — This tier limits the wallet to PHP 50,000 each month and holds daily purchases to that same PHP 50,000 mark. At this tier, InstaPay bank transfers along with sends to other Maya users are unavailable
  • Upgraded — This step won’t proceed without a video selfie, valid ID, and a verified address. A monthly wallet cap of PHP 100,000, PHP 100,000 daily on purchases, PHP 20,000 per transaction (PHP 100,000 per day) sending to a Maya user, and InstaPay out at PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
  • Super Users — A PHP 500,000 cap applies monthly to the wallet, and the same PHP 500,000 figure covers daily purchases and sends. Maya discloses nothing about what makes an account eligible for this tier
  • Ultimate Users — PHP 5,000,000 monthly on the wallet pairs with PHP 5,000,000 daily on purchases and sends alike. Maya discloses nothing about what makes an account eligible for this tier

The published ceiling of Basic accounts cap out at PHP 50,000 monthly, Upgraded at PHP 100,000, Super Users at PHP 500,000, and Ultimate Users at PHP 5,000,000 applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.
